I am Associate Professor within the research section on Antennas, Propagation, and Radio Networking (APNET) at the Department of Electronic Systems.  My research interests are in the broad area of wireless communications and networks, including design and analysis of protocols mostly at the physical, MAC and link layers, but with awareness (and respect :) for the other layers of the protocol stack.  I am teaching courses and supervising Ph. D. students, master student project, undergraduate student projects. I am also involved in supervision of the Elite students in wireless communications, a program that admits the top students and guides them through a research-based education.

My research is concerned with various types of wireless networks: low-power networking, passive (RFID) networks, ad hoc networks, mesh networks, sensor networks, cellular networks. The actual research topics are: cooperative communications, network coding, cognitive radio and dynamic spectrum access, relay networks, wireless security, information-theoretic aspects of the wireless networks , random access protocols, OFDM systems, protocols for MIMO systems, error correction codes and ARQ protocols.
